What are Lot Schedules?
Lot Schedules are a feature that allows users to view schedule milestones, tasks, timelines, and baselines at the development level, meaning they are located on the development page. Users are able to make changes to dates, task statuses, and other task-specific information all from a single page.

Why did we do this?
This feature is intended to help streamline project management, especially when users are managing multiple projects in a development.
Here are some problems we can solve with Lot Schedules:
- We can determine if a project/projects are ahead or behind schedule.
- We can identify individual tasks that may be causing a delay.
- We can update multiple task statuses or dates in a single place, rather than clicking into each individual project page.

3 steps to use Lot Schedules
Step 1: Locating Lot Schedules
To locate a Lot Schedule, navigate to the specific development you'd like to manage. Using the left side panel, click on the "Lot Schedules" tab.
✐ Note: If you are unsure where to locate a specific development, check out this article to review those steps.
Step 2: Selecting the correct view
Lot schedules show Cohorts and individual Projects along the vertical axis and Phases along the horizontal axis. However, there are many options to customize your view.
Clicking on the expand arrow next to the blue Phase name will show all Tasks within that Phase. Tasks that are shown in bold are Milestone tasks.
At the top of the page, there is a "Filters" drop down box that allows you to select the view that is most helpful to your work. See explanations for each filter below.
| Stage |
Only show phases and tasks for a particular stage (i.e. - Pre-construction or Construction) |
| Projects | Only show selected projects or cohorts |
| Current Stage |
Only show projects that are currently active in the selected stage (i.e. - Pre-construction or Construction) |
| Milestones |
Only show Milestone tasks (always shown in bold) |
| Show Task Status Instead of Baseline | Exchange baseline dates for task status bars under task end dates |
| Stale Tasks | Show only those tasks that have an end date in the past but are not yet marked "Complete" |
Lot Schedules contain all baseline information for each Project in a Development for each task.
✐ Note: If you only want to see baseline data for a single project, you can click the single carrot drop down to show the baseline for that project only.
Step 3: Managing tasks
There are two options to manage a task in Bulk Schedules:
1. Click on the date below the phase. This will show a side drawer with all tasks in that phase.
From there, you can click on the task name to open a side drawer that allows you to adjust dates, duration, assignee, trade partner, and task status. Scrolling down on the side drawer will give you other options to adjust, such as setting predecessors, successors, linking a document, or adding comments to the task.
2. Click on the +/- sign at the top of the table, next to a phase. This will open all tasks for that phase across the top.
To manage a specific task, click on the date below it and use the same steps as above to adjust any information.

Other Features to Note
Color-coded date chips
When a task is delayed, or potentially delayed, based on completion of a predecessor, a date chip will appear next to the date for that task or phase. If the chip is red, the task is delayed by that many days. If the chip is yellow, the task is potentially delayed by that many days.
Grayed out dates
When a date is grayed out on the schedule, that means the task is complete.
