New Plan Package Page Display Rollout 🆕

The Plan Package page is getting a major refresh featuring a tabbed layout with auto saving that replaces the old three dot →  Edit workflow options.

What this Means for You

• Architecture & Design: quicker navigation straight to the tab you need, with no more three-dot-menu digging.
• Estimators: Takeoff Manager is still one click away.
• Everyone gets a cleaner, more readable page and clearer guardrails around option conflicts, so it's easier to catch configuration errors before they ship.

Looking ahead, this also lays the groundwork for upcoming AI features — like uploading documents to auto-populate elevations and programmatic data, and AI-suggested option conflicts and requirements.

What's Changing

Every tab is now directly located on the new landing page (no need to three dot drop down to edit). Also, every tab auto-saves as users enter data (cloud icon in the upper right corner. Checkmark=saved!), so there's no need to run through the entire flow to save a change.

Plan Overview Tab

• Opens directly to the new tab-view landing page instead of routing through the full edit workflow.
• Tabs are located at the top of the page for easy navigation.
• Recent Activity is becoming the AI tool surface area — EX: drop the CD into the CD Import Agent to auto-populate the plan.

Elevation Tab

• The edit pop-up captures home data, square footage and cover photo.
  • All plan elevations will display and clicking into a plan will allow you to edit the specific attributes.

Program Data Tab

• Holds detailed home info that can be modified as needed.

Location Tab

• Contains the rooms in the plan, room numbers consistent with CD, and marketing name.
• Ordering, room names and marking names can all be edited from this page. Rooms can also be added or deleted from this page.
  • Deleting a room, will display a pop up of all associated take offs that will be removed as well. 

Options Tab

• Looks and feels very different from the old workflow.
• No longer split across two flows — you add an option, then configure it. Choosing and configuring is now on the same page (including setting up conflicts and requirements).

• The pop-up is where you edit requirements and conflicts.
  • This now includes more information and helper text.

Takeoffs Tab

• Moved into the tab-based view. The top tab is the new way to access Takeoff Manager.
• The information and workflow within the tab stay the same.

Checkout Tab

• Customer facing sales descriptions.
• Inside Maps configuration and which cameras to show.
• Upload floor plans.

Documents

• Moved into the tab-based view.
• The information and workflow within the tab stay the same.
