Project Hierarchy

There is a multi-level framework in out platform. We organize projects, documents, and team members systematically across region, market, community, lot and structure. This will allow us to better manage the complexity of budgets, schedules and team members by establish a hierarchical relationship between projects. For example, Homebound may build an exfill community which has subdivisions in that community with lots in the subdivision and structures on that lot.

Region

A "Region" will be at the highest level and will not appear as project in Blueprint. A "region" could be a state such as Florida or region of a state such as Southern California.

Market

A "Market" will also not appear as a project and will function to designate a specific area where Homebound is building . Dallas is an example of a market where as Texas might be the Region.

Community

A "Community" would not have a parent and represents a grouping of homes such as The Villas at Lakeside. Budget items such as Architectural expenses would most likely be tracked at the community level.

Subdivision

Subdivisions are like the new Developments the parent is a Community.

Lot

A "Lot" has a project and represents a legal plot of land with an address. Homebound may build more than one structure on a lot.

Structure

A "structure" represents a building a home. A structure will always have a "lot" as a parent even though there could be one structure on a lot.
