What are Project Dashboards?
Project Dashboards are the new Overview page for projects in Blueprint. They surface a roll up of project-specific data, such as recent schedule and job log activity, project plan and configuration information, and a financial overview.
✐ Note: If there is no project Photo it is a good idea to upload one by clicking on the camera Icon at the top left

Why did we create Project Dashboards?
We created project dashboards to house relevant project information and display it in a clear, organized design. Users are able to quickly access target pages within the dashboard to view more information or take any further action.

Who uses Project Dashboards?
Project Dashboards are for all users who access individual projects in Blueprint.

How to use Project Dashboards?
Step 1: The Dashboard Header
Each project has a dashboard header. This header will surface general project information, including Market, Development, Project Status, and Latest Active Stage. You can also find the tabs from the previous overview page here - Financials, Activity, PreCon Expectations.
The header also contains a gear icon next to the project address that gives users more options. Clicking this icon gives you options to open a new link for the Homeowner Platform, navigate to the Project Settings page, or to edit the layout of your project dashboards.
When you select "Edit" from the gear icon, you are able to drag and drop individual widgets (ex: Schedule, Project Info, etc.) into your preferred position. You can delete widgets from view and add them back using the gray tile and drop down at the bottom of the page ("Add Widgets).
The intention of this design is for users to organize information in a view that makes the most sense for their work on a project.
Step 2: The Widgets
Each widget on the project dashboard surfaces information that lives elsewhere on the project. All widgets have arrows and titles that will link you to the relevant page on the project when clicked.
Below you can find an explanation for the information surfaced in each widget:
| Schedule |
Shows most recent Global Phase and progress bar. You can view all tasks within that phase, including their start/end dates and current status. Clicking on the task name will take you to the task side panel on the schedule page. |
|
Project Info |
Shows Configuration data, Delivery Timeline, and Design information. While this information is not actionable from your dashboard, clicking on the arrow next to each column title will link you to the relevant page in Blueprint - the Lot Summary page, Schedules page, and Specs and Selections page, respectively. |
| Team Members |
Shows both internal and external team members on the project. Internal team members will surface with their Homebound email address and title on the project. External team members (trade partners) will surface with primary contact information. Clicking on the trade partner name or image will navigate you to that trade partner's page on the Global Navigation bar. |
| Finances |
Shows both the PreCon and Construction budget. This is the same information that can be located on the Finances tab in the dashboard header. |
| Job Logs |
Shows the most recent job logs for the project, date added, and who added it. Clicking on the job log title will open that job log side panel on the job logs page. |
| To-Dos |
Shows the most recent to-dos for the project, date added, and who added it. Clicking on the to-dos title will open that to-dos on the project to-dos page. You can also add a new to-do directly from this widget. |
| Photos |
Shows the most recent 5 photos on the project. Clicking on the arrow or title of the widget will navigate you to the photos gallery on the job logs page. |
| Documents |
Shows the most recent documents, date added, and who added it. Document types are auto-filtered based on your team member role on the project. For example - a user listed as an A&D team member would see designs, construction plans & reports, and permitted plans in their documents widget. |
