Watch the demo video on adding specs & selections from a template below and keep reading for more information:
Step 1: Under Add Items in the Specs & Selections tab, Select From Template
Once in a project, navigate to the Specs & Selections tab under project management. From this tab, click add items at the top right of the page. Once the drop down appears, select from template.
Step 2: Select the Template to Apply
Once from template is selected, an add from template modal will appear. On this screen, navigate to the template you'd like to apply.
Step 3: If Applicable, Determine whether to Replace Existing Line Items in the Project
If there are repeating specs & selections from what is already present in the project and what is in the applied template, a "replace existing line items" toggle will appear. To replace existing line items, toggle the button on. By toggling this button on, all items that will be replaced by the template will populate. If you don't want to replace one of the items listed, you can click on the X at the right hand side of the selection.
Once you are ready to apply the template, press add at the bottom of the modal.
Note: Once you X out a line item to replace, you must X all replaceable items to repopulate the ability to apply the line item X'd out.
Step 4: Review Applied Templates and Added or Replaced Line Items
At the top of the Specs & Selections screen, you can view all applied templates. If more than two templates are applied, press the "+" to open a modal that will list all applied templates.
Once the template is applied, you can review all replaced or added items in the Specs & Selections overview screen.
Note: Once selections are added, they will still need to be finalized in the project. To learn more about curating and finalizing selections in a project, read Curate a Design Selection
