If a Bill requires a Lien Waiver to be signed then the document will be automatically uploaded to PandaDoc and sent for signature when the Bill is created and/or will the Bill is paid.
What are the types of Lien Waivers?
There are two basic types of Lien Waivers:
- Conditional Lien Waiver - This type of waiver is generally signed before the Bill is paid and is conditional upon the receipt of payment. The waiver will be sent once the Bill is created and Approved
- Unconditional Lien Waiver - This type of waiver is created and sent for signature once the Bill has been paid
Who signs a Lien Waiver
Lien Waivers will be automatically sent for signature in Panda Doc to the "Lien Waiver Signatory" Contact assigned to the Roles in Each market. Here is more on managing Trade Partners.
How to Re-Upload a Lien Waiver
If a Lien Waiver was sent to the wrong signatory or needs to be signed again for some reason it can ben re-uploaded to PandaDoc and will be automatically sent for signature using the Re-Upload Button on the Bill page:
Note: A Conditional Lien Waiver cannot be re-uploaded if the Bill has been paid and the Unconditional Lien Waiver cannot be re-uploaded at 90 days after signature
