User Goal - To Create the Construction Contract in Blueprint
The Construction Contract really represents the Original Budget or Underwritten Budget. It sets the first line on the Budget Screen.
All of the scope for the "Construction Contract" will live in Specs & Selections. This scope includes item codes with costs and potentially markup. Scope maybe imported into Specs & Selections via a Library Template or from a Development Template once the lot is configured.
Once the Scope has all been imported and any site-specific costs have also been added manually at the project level you can create a Final Estimate. Click the "Create Estimate" button at the top right of the Specs & Selections screen. Then you can click "View Estimate in the modal to review:
When reviewing the estimate make sure that the numbers are accurate
Note: If it is a BOYL project the price should match the agreement that was signed with the Homeowner
Then click "Create Contract" at the top right and then "Complete Contract" on the modal. Choose "Fixed" or Cost Plus, an Execution Date, upload the signed PDF and then Save!
