Users can now add "Punch List Items" to the Field App and send notifications to trades to ensure that work is completed fully and that all items are buttoned up. Here's how you can add and manage your "Punch List Items"...
Adding Punchlist Items
To add a Punchlist item in a project simply navigate into the project, scroll down and then navigate into Punchlist. Once there just click the blue + at the top right to add one. You will then be prompted to either add a photo or give the Punch List Item a title. That will add the Punch List Item to the unassigned list. You will be able to later click into the Item to provide more detail...
To add a Punch List Item at the Project Level navigate to the Menu at the bottom right of your app and then to Punchlist. From there just repeat as above.
Assigning Punch List Items
You can create a "Punch List Item" without assigning to a Trade Partner or Project. Those items will show up on the "Unassigned" list. To assign more than one item at a time (bulk assign) simply click Assign in blue at the top right, then select the items you want to assign. Select a Site* (Project Address) from the drop-down and then add the Trade Partner. You can also select a CC Contact. You can toggle on "Send separately via Email" to enter and send an email manually. You also have the option to update the Due Date as well as the Room/Location of the project on the Punch List Item. See screenshots below:
Note: Be Careful with "Save and Go to Next" it will email the Trade Partner Scheduling Contact
You can also assign Punch List Items one at a time. To do this simply click/tap into the Punch List item and then subsequently select your Site* (Project) and Trade. Here you can also update the Room/Location and change the Due Date of a Punch List Item
Sorting and Filtering
You can sort Punch List Items by Date Created, Trade Partner or Project (Site*). See below:
Filters are really useful and can be used to narrow the list of Punch List Items by Project and by Trade. The Trade Partners Filter is dependent on the Projects Filter so you would need to first select your Projects and then select Trade Partners.
To clear you filters you will just need to de-select all Trade Partners and Projects.
Note: Filters are important when sharing Punchlist Items. The Scheduling Contact for the Trade Partners selected in the filter will be notified when you share.
Share and Export
Using the Share Icon at the top you can either export your Punchlist Items as a .CSV file or send an email to Trades.
Note: You will want to make sure that Trade Partners have a "Scheduling Contact" assigned
