Warranty Requests can be managed and submitted from Blueprint. Normally Warranty Requests will be submitted by the Homeowner from within the Homeowner Portal and then managed from the Warranty tab in Blueprint
Creating a Warranty Ticket and Requests
From the Warranty page on the global navigation bar simply click the "Create New" blue button at the top right. Enter a title and choose type, development and/or project from the drop-down menu.
✐ Note: If you toggle off H/O Visible in the modal the Ticket or any related requests will not be visible to the Homeowner in "HOP"
Now you have a Warranty Ticket and you can add Requests to this Ticket. You can also add Homeowner contact Information and availability under the Ticket Summary. Also under the Ticket Summary you can add Files make a comment (either internal or to a Homeowner) and view the History of the Ticket.
Responding to a Warranty Request
From the Blueprint Warranty experience you can add details, documents and update the status of the request. Let the client know that we are accepting the request by change the status to "accepted" or something else. See below:
- Submitted - Tickets that are submitted, not missing information, but not approved or declined
- Rejected - Tickets that are declined usually from not being in warranty
- Accepted - Tickets that are accepted but have not been scheduled yet
- On Hold - When CX needs additional information, are waiting for additional tickets to come in before scheduling etc
- Scheduled - Claims that are submitted and coordinated with trades and homeowners, but have not been completed yet
- Complete - Claims that are work complete and have been signed off by homeowners
✐ Note: It is also a good idea to make a Homeowner Visible Comment on the ticket because comments are quite visible in HOP
Duration of Ticket Requests
The duration of ticket will show up on the Warranty page in Blueprint in the Duration column in the colored chips. When a ticket or request is submitted the counter will show 0d and will increase with each day that passes until all of the requests in a ticket as marked as complete. Here are what the colors mean:
| Submitted | Rejected | Accepted | On Hold | Scheduled | Complete |

Green - under 24 hours Yellow - after 24 hours Red - after 72 hours |

Completing a Warranty Request
Once all requests within a ticket are marked as "Complete" then the duration of a ticket will be locked and the Homeowner will be notified by Email.
