What is a Homeowner Note?
A homeowner note is a cadenced update provided to homeowners on the progress of their build. The creation of a homeowner note is done within Blueprint but will surface in both Blueprint and our Homeowner Portal.
✐ Note: You can always look up unfamiliar terms in our Comprehensive Glossary of Key Terms. Key terms are bolded, italicized and in quotation marks. Like so, "Bill"

Why did we create Homeowner Notes?
Previously, homeowners had access to tracking their build journey but no contextual information to support what each of our schedule tasks truly meant to the progress of their home. Our client experience team at Homebound was sending manual updates to Homeowners to showcase job log photos and dispense information on their build. In support of more connected workflows and more educated homeowners, the homeowner note function was developed.

How to use Homeowner Notes?
Step 1: Navigate to a Project's Job Logs Gallery
From an individual project, select "Job Logs" in the side pane navigation. Once the screen loads, toggle the gallery view on by clicking the slide in the filters row.
Step 2: Select Photos to Associate to the H/O Note (Optional)
If there are job site photos that you'd like to associate to the H/O note, they can be multi-selected by clicking each desired image square. Photos can be associated once you begin drafting the note through the same "click to select" function. If you no longer desire to associate a photo to the note, you can deselect any photo by clicking it's associated image square again.
Step 3: Select "Create H/O Note"
To begin generating a note, click the "Add H/O Note" action in the top right actions menu. This will present a super drawer where you'll be prompted to add a homeowner note name, description, and attach any related schedule tasks. Schedule tasks are bucketed into three categories: Completed, In progress, and Upcoming tasks.
Step 4: Press "Add Note"
When you have finished adding all applicable note details and photos, press "Add Note" at the bottom of the superdrawer. Once this button is clicked, the homeowner note will be visible in the Homeowner Platform and referenceable in Blueprint from the H/O notes tab and project dashboard widget.
