Development Lot-Summary

The "Lot-Summary" screen contains what used to be known as the "Lot Sequence Sheet". A table that include lot configuration info for each project in a development. Each row in the table corresponds to one project. The columns contain lot configuration data, including plot information, spec levels, plans and options. 

Note: "Lot Sequence Sheets" are where "Lot Configuration" take place and can be found at the "Lot-Summary" tab in a "Development"

Overview page of a Development is meant to serve as the following:

• Create a source of truth on what plans and options are configured on a lot.
• Pull plan and option names from the libraries built by our A&D team.
• Keep track of who has made changes to a lot's configuration.
• Display the data from our lot sequence sheets in useful places, including on a project's overview page, and on Dev Contracts and Purchase Orders.

Some Functionality

Subscribe to Updates

To stay up to date on lot configuration changes in a development, subscribe to updates. To do so, navigate to the Lot Summary page in a development and select the gray Subscribe to updates button.

This will sign you up for a daily email with a summary of any new updates within a development, including changes to a project's configuration and the addition of new projects.

Status Chips

There are status chips that can appear next to an address in the Overview Screen. The statuses and reasons they would appear are as follows:

• New: A project will have a 'New' status if it has been newly added to the development within the last 7 days.
• Pending: 'Pending' means that the scope associated with a configuration has not pulled though into the project. A 'Pending' status will appear if one or more of the following is true:
  • • The project's configuration is incomplete.
    • The project has been configured with at least one template that does not have an Active status.
    • The project needs a signed obligation document. Refer to this article on Construction Estimates for more information.
• Updated: A status of 'Updated' means configuration information in the project has been updated within the last seven days.

Note: Hover over a 'Pending' chip to see more information about why a project has that status.

Moving a Lot

At the end of each row, there is an arrow icon that, when clicked, will allow you to easy move a project into any other cohort in the same market.

Note: Moving a project to a new development will clear its configuration data.

Editing a Project's Configuration

Click a project address to open up a side drawer with all its configuration information. In the upper right, click Edit Configuration to enter edit mode. While in edit mode, you can update a project's configuration. Click between the Summary and Options tabs to edit the appropriate information. Hover over an existing option to reveal an "X" that, when clicked, will remove that option. When you have completed all your edits, click Save in the bottom right to save your changes.

Note: Changing a project's plan will require you to choose new options.

Site Conditions

You can also record site conditions from the Development Overview screen. The Site Conditions form can be used to record unique conditions on a lot that may result in a delay in the schedule or higher build cost. Simple click on the clip board Icon and enter as much unique information as possible.
